Pleated lampshades

How often do you still see pleated lampshades?  Not that often.  The reason?  It is so time consuming which in turn, is very expense.  We have made these two lovely pleated lampshades for Ria Neethling of Unicorn Creations in the Northern Paarl area.  She is a well-known Decorator and has always fresh and hands-on ideas for you home, office or shop.

And this is what the lampshades look like:

This is a custom made rectangular frame covered in flat pleats and then lined.  She finished it off with a large tussle.

This is a round lampshade frame, also done in the same pleating and finished off with beads at the bottom to compliment the lampshade base.
